with Sister Jenna

Sister Jenna

SISTER JENNA is a spiritual leader, author, radio host, and TV personality, renowned speaker, and founder of the Meditation Museum I & II in metropolitan Washington, DC. Despite the many life challenges that we face on a global scale, Sister Jenna has an uncanny ability to connect us back to where our problems originated and shift our awareness toward the solutions.

She has collaborated with Fortune 500 companies on key issues and her syndicated radio show, America Meditating, is a popular global online show.

In 2012, the Brahma Kumaris Meditation Museum launched a nationwide initiative, America Meditating – Pause for Peace. This initiative encourages everyone across the nation to allow time during their day to pause for peace and reflect within. A peaceful person creates an environment of trust, respect, love, safety, and a more peaceful world.

From the beginning, the show has focused on wellness, current events, healthy living, spirituality, self-help, meditation, empowerment, people who have overcome significant obstacles, and people who are making a difference in their communities and the world.

In this episode, Sister Jenna joins Rebecca and Sandie  to share her professional and personal insights on several important current topics, including mental and emotional wellness, the power of meditation,  and coping with loved ones who are experiencing cognitive decline.   |

Meditation is the journey inwards, a journey of self-discovery or, in fact, re-discovery. Meditation is time taken for quiet reflection and silence, away from the hustle and bustle of daily living.

Taking time out enables us to come back to a centered place of being. In our modern world, the pace of life is growing ever faster and we are losing touch with our true inner peace and power. When we no longer feel grounded, we can experience ourselves pushed and pulled in many different directions. It is at this point that we start to experience stress and a feeling of being trapped. Gradually, over time, this feeling leads to illness and disease, as our mental, emotional and physical health is thrown out of balance.

Meditation is a state of being in that place just beyond every day consciousness, which is where spiritual empowerment begins. Spiritual awareness gives us the power to choose good and positive thoughts over those which are negative and wasteful. We start to respond to situations, rather than just reacting to them. We begin to live with harmony, we create better and happier, healthier relationships and change our lives in a most positive way.
